The mechanical failing load is 12 kN. This product complies with BS 137 and IEC 60383. The "W" indicates an anti-pollution design, while the "Y" indicates a long-shank design. The creepage distance reaches 900 mm, and the dry arcing distance is 419 mm. A 900 mm creepage distance is exceptionally long for this voltage class. This design is intended for overhead lines in heavily polluted areas. The top-pin structure provides stable conductor support and good resistance to wind loads. We use a high-alumina porcelain formula to improve both mechanical strength and voltage endurance.
