The Corner Post Insulators 57-24 is designed for angle pole and tension tower applications in 55 kV power systems. Its rated voltage is 55 kV. The structure height is 440 mm, and the disc diameter is 165 mm. The mechanical failing load reaches 12.5 kN. The product complies with ANSI C29.7 standards. The creepage distance is 1015 mm, and the dry arcing distance is 368 mm. The 57-24 belongs to the ANSI 57 series and has similar application performance to the 57-4 class. The extended insulation distance makes it suitable for higher voltage outdoor environments. The tall post structure provides stable conductor support on angle sections where mechanical loads are higher. We use high-strength electrical porcelain with controlled forming and firing processes. The Corner Post Insulators are mainly applied on 55 kV transmission line angle poles and tension structures.
