Steel Post Insulators

The Steel Post Insulators 47-25 is designed for high voltage line support with steel base mounting. Its rated voltage is 66 kV. The structure height is 510 mm, and the disc diameter is 178 mm. The mechanical failing load reaches 12.5 kN. The product complies with ANSI C29.7 standards. The creepage distance is 1145 mm, and the dry arcing distance is 438 mm. The 47-25 belongs to the ANSI 47 series and provides the longest insulation distance within this series. The steel base structure allows direct installation on metal frameworks and transmission equipment. This design improves mounting flexibility for different tower structures. We combine a high-density porcelain body with a galvanized steel base through a controlled assembly process. The Steel Post Insulators are mainly used on 66 kV transmission line straight towers, angle towers, and tension structures.

The connection between the porcelain body and steel base is an important part of product performance. Our assembly process uses dedicated tooling to control alignment and connection accuracy. The steel base dimensions are checked before final assembly, including mounting hole position and interface size.

Our inspection team performs mechanical load tests on production batches to verify bending strength. We also check the galvanized coating thickness of steel components to improve outdoor corrosion resistance. Production records are maintained for quality traceability. For special projects, we can adjust steel base dimensions according to customer drawings, including mounting hole spacing and installation requirements.

The product has been supplied for overseas high voltage projects using ANSI standards. Technical documents such as drawings and inspection reports can be prepared to support project approval.

The standard delivery period is 40 to 55 days due to the larger structure and additional assembly process. Customers are advised to arrange purchasing plans according to project schedules.

The products are packed in reinforced wooden cases with steel frame protection. This packaging method helps reduce impact during long-distance transportation. We support FOB and CIF trade terms. The warranty period is 12 months after shipment. Our team provides production updates and technical communication throughout the order process.
